AHATA Sponsors CHTA Education Foundation Supervisor & Manager Training in Aruba
ORANJESTAD, Aruba (November 5, 2024) – This November, 140 supervisors and managers from across Aruba are enhancing their expertise through a highly sought-after boot camp offered by the CHTA Education Foundation in partnership with the Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association (AHATA). Following last year’s successful sessions, demand remains strong, with both the 2023 and 2024 trainings reaching capacity and establishing waitlists within a week of launch.
This intensive program equips supervisors and managers with essential skills to improve team supervision and boost both guest and team satisfaction. The training is delivered by Louise John and Suzanne Shillingford-Brooks of Talkabout & Earth Solutions, facilitators of the Education Foundation’s “Caribbean Supercharged Service” series.
“We are pleased to see such robust demand for this training in Aruba,” said Karolin Troubetzkoy, Chairwoman of the Education Foundation. “This bootcamp empowers supervisors and managers with practical skills to elevate the guest experience while reinforcing the values of Caribbean hospitality. It’s motivating to witness AHATA and industry leaders here so dedicated to advancing professional development across the sector.”
“Exceptional service is the cornerstone of Aruba’s successful tourism industry, and AHATA’s goal is to help ensure our market leadership by supporting the development of our hospitality personnel. We were delighted with last year’s results from the excellent CHTAEF training and are excited that another 140 supervisors and managers have the opportunity to enrich their skills,” said AHATA President & CEO, Tisa LaSorte.
The Bootcamps are made possible by the generous sponsorship of AHATA, with support from La Cabana Resort and Eagle Beach Resort.
