Ernest Dwight (BA Economics & Business, Belmont Abbey College, 1970) is the founder and former owner/president of SouthWood, the Image, Identity & Signage Specialists, from which he retired in 2016. He is a board member of Hands for Haiti (www.handsforhaiti.org) , which operates a Catholic school in  rural northern Haiti. He is a recognized speaker/author on wayfinding, branding and signage. A lifelong resident of Charlotte, NC, Ernest and his late wife Vicky have 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
