Heidi Clarke is the Executive Director of the Sandals Foundation – the philanthropic arm of Sandals Resorts International which focuses on
developing the Caribbean and improving the lives of its people through the areas of education, environment and community.

Heidi’s primary responsibilities include managing over development projects across eight Caribbean islands. By harnessing the
power of volunteerism and activism led by team members, guests, travel agents, local, regional, international, nonprofit organizations and
corporate partners, Heidi and her team effect life changing programs that reach far beyond the doors of the Sandals and Beaches all-inclusive resorts.

Born and raised in Jamaica, Heidi has extensive experience in the education, social services and business management fields. She attended the University of Miami, where she studied child psychology and education while working with abused children and underprivileged schools in
the South Florida community.

Here in Jamaica, she is a certified Game Warden with the National Environment and Planning Agency and sits on the boards of the South West Coast Fish Sanctuary Alliance; the Fish Sanctuary Network, the North East Regional Health Authority Fundraising Committee and the Culloden Early Childhood Institute.

Her personal passion for service and commitment to community development is further evident in her counseling and mentorship of troubled teenage girls who have suffered from domestic violence. Additionally, she volunteers her time regularly to local-area schools to increase environmental awareness, promote environmental stewardship and improve literacy.

This exemplary life of service is no doubt being transferred to her two children of which she is a proud parent.
