The primary mandate of the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association Education Foundation from its formation in 1986 has been to support education and training programs for the region’s hospitality and tourism industry.

For the last three decades, the Education Foundation has raised and distributed over US$4 million for individual scholarships and training for the region’s nationals.

In partnership with its corporate sponsors and with the generous support of the member hotels and allied partners of the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association, the Education Foundation’s Caribbean Employee Empowerment Training Program is a dynamic program of on-island training courses to further the development of industry skills in a series of one-day training courses in a variety of disciplines.
